Belwind is located in an area that is exclusively reserved for the construction and operation of wind farms in accordance with the Royal Decree dated 17.05.2004.

Fishing is not allowed in the Belwind wind farm due to all the cables (50 km of cables connect the wind turbines with each other and the high-voltage station), and by the access ban for third parties enforced by the police.
